The Internship program is a key component of this project. Young Greek Interns will acquire valuable experience and know-how working on new, exciting features in “Rebooting the Greek Language”. Program Overview

The Rebooting the Greek Language project features a highly-selective, paid internship program for computer science graduates in Greece. Interns will participate in a three-week training program in technology and entrepreneurship at the SNF New Media Lab in Vancouver, Canada, before embedding with the Lab in Athens in a distributed work environment. Internships will vary between three and twelve months, depending on the needs of the program.

Selection Process

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Beginning in February 2018, a selection committee made of five experts, including Full Stack web developers, software developers, designers, and a representative from VentureLabs®, will select three cohorts of interns to participate in the program. Applicants must meet the following criteria


  1. Greek national living in Greece
  2. Have a working knowledge of English
  3. Have a valid passport
  4. Recently graduated from a technical or university program
  5. Preference given to applicants with some experience

The internship program is being facilitated by Industry Design Inc. and its subsidiary in Greece, Industry Design Branch Office Hellas
All interns are employed under Greek state law for a minimum of 3 months and have the ability to extend employment depending on the needs of the project and their skillset.
